The February 2017 HDSCBA meeting will feature the StreamTeam, a Clark Public Utilities venture whose mission is to Restore the Salmon Creek Watershed.

StreamTeam is a volunteer-driven stream restoration program. More than 1,000 team members donate over 3,500 hours of their time each year to save salmon. StreamTeam members include Clark Public Utilities employees, Stream Stewards, AmeriCorps members, scout groups, college students, youth groups and many other dedicated individuals.

The February presentation will revolve around StreamTeam Volunteer Opportunities, and how your company can get involved!

Our presenter will be Ashley King. Ashley received a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Wake Forest University and a M.S. in Organismal Biology and Ecology from the University of Montana.

Before coming to Clark Public Utilities, Ashley worked as the Assistant Coordinator at the International Wildlife Film Festival and Media Center in Missoula, Montana. She started at Clark Public Utilities as an AmeriCorps member almost six years ago, and has been in her current position as StreamTeam Program Coordinator for over five years.
